What is BarCamp?
BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Most important, it’s an opportunity for people to learn about the technology being used by their peers. The event is free for all attendees and everybody is encouraged to participate by presenting, blogging, talking on panels, or contributing to the event in other ways.
BarCamp is completely organized and run by the participants. Anybody can present on a topic or join a panel discussion. The event is intended to encourage people to explore new ideas and technology and provides an opportunity for smaller companies and freelancers to network and grow.
