emergency parent meeting

Got a enigmatic email from the Superintendent of Schools today, entitled Emergency Parent Meeting:
I am writing to invite you to an informational meeting for all Littleton Parents.
DATE: Tuesday, January 16, 2007
TIME: 6:00pm
PLACE: High School Auditorium
TOPIC: Staff Member on Administrative Leave of Absence
I am aware that there is a grade 5 concert that evening but I hope those parents will be able to drop your children off at Russell St. a bit early and still attend this meeting.
There will be a handout and Police Chief John Kelly will be there with me to clarify information regarding recent press releases.
Thank you for your anticipated support while we work through this uncharted territory together.
