accomplishments
1) Started another scrap quilt…. This time a log cabin quilt. Here are the first two blocks. I’m going to attempt to make it entirely from fabric I already have. We’ll see how far I get. I’m hoping I’ve still got some of those brown reproduction floral fabrics from my Abigail Adams quilt.
B) Also rolled $128 worth of coins this afternoon. Counting and rolling coins is one of the few chores I enjoy. Something about the simple rituals of counting, stacking and putting them in their crisp paper wrappers, all ready for the bank. Very satisfying.
iii) Got approached about being a technical reviewer for an upcoming book.
Well, it’s now too late to continue using the sewing machine without risking waking the household, so I’ll just go cut some more fabric instead.
