A new adventure

I am pleased to announce…

No, I am thrilled to pieces to announce that I have accepted a position in the IBM Rational Customer Support organization as manager of the Knowledge Management Team.

Some useful reading on Knowledge-Centered Support.

I’m going to get to work with a close-knit group of good people while working in an area that makes my heart beat faster.

w00t!

p.s. It makes my speaking gig at the Boston KM Forum in December almost prophetic.

p.p.s. Did I mention I was thrilled to pieces?!?

    Congrats!

You might wanna have a look at this randsinrepose article – about how to act in the first ninety days of a new job.

Not sure if it is as relevant to you manager types, but it’s a decent read anyway :-)

Yay team. Go go go….you star.

Sorry for being so uninspired but I’m tired & a bit drunk on only ONE G&T.

Wooohooo ! Kelly, CONGRATULATIONS! I bet you certainly are thrilled about the whole thing, but I am even much more excited myself on reading about it as I am pleased to see another KMer entering the exciting and fascinating world ahead of you in this new realm! Awesome! Congrats! Another great reason to keep the subscription to your blog for many years to come! W00t! Congrats!

Thanks, everyone, for the well-wishes … I’m incredibly excited about the new job and can’t wait to start. You will be seeing a lot more about this in future blog posts. Looking forward to sharing the good stuff happening in this space.

And will be working hard to become a KM Goddess. :-)

My sincere congratulations. It’s always nice when one gets positive evidence that ones talents are appreciated.
However, stay cool – and keep a copy of “The Prince” handy at all times. That’s the way things work. PR

Sorry for the delayed response – you have to go and announce this over the holiday weekend, don’t ya?

Well done – and good luck.

I’m pleased as punch that you’ll be getting all fired up about some new stuff. And I’m also pleased that I’ll still have an inside girl at Rational ;-)

  9. The Girl says:

I love peter, there is no one who brings up Machiavelli in day to day conversation. It’s good advice though.

    Congratulations momma.

  10. Slimbru says:

    KD,

    You go girl ;-)

Glad we had the opportunity to work together. We’re gonna miss ya here in SVT.

  11. HIMSELF says:

The Prince still good some 500 years later, and carrying it is good YES but make sure to leave behind a copy of Le Journal de Bonaparte et des hommes vertueux, some 300 years newer but still appropriĆ© for the little man (and ‘virtuous’ company!) you leave behind!

SO GLAD for you (and all of us!) CONGRATULATIONS sweet poot-o-mine! XO
