Lotus Greenhouse
w00t!
I’ve just been ‘discovered’ and invited to join Lotus Greenhouse. What is Lotus Greenhouse, you ask?
The purpose of the Greenhouse is a place where software (in particular social software built by Lotus/IBM) can come to grow. By that we mean we deploy products like Lotus Connections 1.0 (Blogs, Communities, Activities, Profiles, Dogear), and Lotus Quickr 8.0 (quickplace revived), Lotus Sametime 7.5.1 and more and invite colleagues, business partners and customers to help shape our software. We do this by deploying Alpha and Beta versions and ask them to participate (in any way they’d like) by trying our software and giving us feedback.
Anxiously awaiting my invitation URL and seeing what exciting things are happening in this space. I’m already using Sametime, Quickr, Dogear, and the blogging platform internally, it’ll be great to try it externally too.

You will find quite a bit of content out there already. A large European base is in place and the rest still needs some work from new members.

Hhhhmmmm – I’m hoping you sent him this email address, and not my IBM ID (that’s no longer a valid email address)

Your blog is currently the first hit on the new search engine launched by ex-googlers ( http://www.cuil.com/ ).
We’ve been doing quite a few things on the Greenhouse since last year and its now openly available to anyone who is interested in IBM / Lotus collaboration technologies.
Let me know if you have any suggestions etc for the greenhouse team @ lghteam@us.ibm.com
