Again.
The promised nor’easter arrived sometime during the night, and there’s 8 inches of new snow already, on top of the 8 inches we got on Thursday. The Bananamobile has disappeared under the snow again. Even Bodie the Monster Dog now has to launch himself into the air with every step in order to negotiate the backyard.
Never did find my stolen glove.
It’s a good day to stay inside, drink gallons of hot tea, and paint or quilt while watching Marx Brothers movies.
And nap.
Ugh. Better you than me. We got semi-pounded in early December–not all at once, but an inch or two every other day so that you were constantly out there shoveling (or choosing not to shovel and live with the sheet-o-death on the driveway).
Oh my God. I haven’t been able to get to the internet for nearly a week and look what happens. You’ve had a big birthday and it’s snowing fit to burst.
It looks so lovely but I’m still glad today was 26 degrees here in sunny Melbourne.
