In the immediate aftermath of the blizzard of 2013, the snow was so high that Bodie the Wonder Dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog/black bear mix of some size, had to put his head down and use it to plow a path to The Pooping Fields.
He was able to porpoise back but ever since, he has stuck to the path.
