My favorite type of mail ….. mail art!
This lovely silk-screened postcard from the incomparable Megaloo.
Remember her name …. she’s going to be famous one day.
it's not much, but it's random

Admiring my new salsa bowls, handmade by my incredibly talented sister-in-law Cindy. And how well they go with these plates and my vintage napkins from a local consignment store.
Thank you, Cindy!

I’m experimenting with a new technique and ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards, are proving to be the perfect canvas.

Recently, Himself had the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks in Israel. Not his first trip, so he had a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.
As you might imagine, I am “high-maintenance” and beg piteously for presents for every trip I deem worthy.
Boise, Idaho, doesn’t make the list, although I have gotten some nice presents from there. Nor Herlock, Maryland. Sorry.
Israel definitely counts.
Compounding my good luck, one of his outings was to an outdoors artists market, where he got some lovely glass coasters featuring some nifty Israeli vintage advertising art.
SOOOOOO cool. Check out a few of my favorites:
Himself has posted an album of the entire set over at Facebook. (Thank you, Ayelet, for the captions!

It’s just that birds and flowers are a lot more fun to draw than snow.

My version of a vintage french label.
For the Girl, who adores steak tips and truffle fries.
