More RSDC Feedback

Here is a brief summary of my perspective on RSDC 2006:

  • The Good: interaction with customers and other IBMers. I spent most of my time listening to customers and comments about product performance. The opportunity to network with other IBMers was also valuable, and I have been following up with those customers and IBMers now that the conference is over. I also found the talk by Benjamin Zander very good too.
  • The Bad: internal communication regarding RSDC – I found it very difficult to know what was scheduled, with who and where. I spent a significant amount of time searching for this information, with the result being loss of time spent on “the Good” (see above). There needs to be a central internal (IBM) source for information regarding RSDC, client/customer meetings and subjects.
  • The Bunk: Damn! WDW food was expensive!
