Thrilled beyond measure and pleased as punch to report that one of Rational Client Support’s own has won top accolades for IBM’s HackDay(+4) with his HackDay entry.
Not sure how much of the details of the hack are externally consumable, so I’m not going to go into details. However, the details don’t matter.
HackDay(+4) had a record number of projects registered and a record number of participants. We had a number of local physical events held in conjunction with the virtual event. We had a live chat room for all the participants.
And as a result, my organization, for sure, has realized real value from participating in an unofficial grassroots innovation event.
How cool is THAT?!?!?!
We’ve come a long way from that moment in June 2006 when I first proposed such an event on IBM’s Blog Central.
