my first block printing

my first block printing, originally uploaded by kellypuffs.

My first attempt at block carving and printing.

It’s great fun.

More fun than tatting.

And I haven’t had to throw anything at the wall.

  1. LOVE IT!
I think you should frame the block and the print together.
Also fun and quick to mix paint and aquadhere glue together on glass to do a monoprint

  2. But, @wonderwebby, half the point of printing is to make more than one. πŸ™‚ As Puffy’s other photo shows. Maybe block plus 3 prints in 2 x 2 grid is the right thing to frame. OR perhaps 2 blocks and 2 2-color prints therefrom arranged with the blocks on the diagonal of a 2 x 2 squaire. (Corollary: Prints on the OTHER diagonal of the 2 x 2 square.) πŸ™‚
