This is a fragment of my master bedroom wallpaper. I don’t know how old it is, but it was partially removed when we moved in, and we’re getting rid of the rest of it.
But I’ve preserved a portion of it here for posterity.
Today’s visual journal entry.
One shouldn’t read too much into the content – it’s a result of some whammy stuff I found at Michael’s last night, and just happened to have a travel theme.
Not that I’m averse to travel. Au contraire, mon ami. It has occurred to me that I haven’t traveled out of the country since the divorce, a situation that must be rectified at the earliest convenience.
I keep threatening to take Himself on a cruise, which used to be my FAVORITE vacation, bar none. I know. You are thinking “old people” and stuff, but never underestimate the power of a decision-free vacation when one is living in a pressure cooker 24/7.
Plus it’s on a boat.
And if you are REALLY lucky, seas will be rough, which is my absolute FAVORITE sensation in the entire world, and you can go to bed rocking in your own, cruise-ship-sized cradle.
