Behold, the traditional post-rehearsal pint at JP O’Hanlons.
Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since we’ve last played with the Nashoba Valley Concert Band.
We returned tonight.
God, I’ve missed these guys.
And it felt good to play again, even if we were a little rusty. We, as in Himself and me. The band sounded AWESOME! Black Horse Troop, 1812, and Leroy Anderson’s Fiddle Faddle. What fun!
We’re back! π
A beautiful surprise last night – great to have you back on the band. Subsequent discussion over beer reveals you have been away for 5 years!! Time seems to be a short-changing device powered by a 427 hemi running flat out. Well we missed you, but 5 years?!
And where’s the traditional post-rehearsal Kellypuffs and Himself in this picture? π Can’t take BOTH of you to work the camera, can it? π
Left to right in position four, one would note a pair of arms with one of the coolest watches in the world on the left arm.
Sorry I missed you!
It couldn’t have been 5 years…I’ve been in the band for 5 years, and there was definitely some overlap of us in the band together for a while.
I hope our band paths cross again soon π
